Abstract: Home automation – controlling the fans, lights and other electrical appliances in a house using Internet of things is widely preferred in recent days. In this paper, we propose a web application using which the fans, lights and other electrical appliances can be controlled over the Internet. The important features of the web application is that firstly, we have a chatbot algorithm such that the user can text information to control the functioning of the electrical appliances at home. The messages sent using the chatbot is processed using Natural Language processing techniques. Secondly, any device connected to the local area network of the house can control the devices and other appliances in the house. Thirdly, the web application used to enable home automation also has a security feature that only enables certain users to access the application. And finally, it also has a functionality of sending an email alert when intruder is detected using motion sensors.

Abstract: This paper present an approach to automate the conversion of Natural Language Query to SQL Query effectively. Structured Query Language is a powerful tool for managing data held in a relational database management system. To retrieve or manage data user have to enter the correct SQL Query. But the users who don’t have any knowledge about SQL are unable to retrieve the required data. To overcome this we proposed a model in Natural Language Processing for converting the Natural Language Query to SQL query. This helps novice user to get required content without knowing any complex details about SQL. This system can also deal with complex queries. This system is designed for Training and Placement cell officers who work on student database but don’t have any knowledge about SQL. In this system, user can also enter the query using speech. System will convert speech into the text format. This query will get transformed to SQL query. System will execute the query and gives output to the user.

Introduction:

Recent advances in the field of the communication system results in the invention of highly advanced mobile device having the power of super computers. These devices have become the integral part of the human being worldwide. Present days human being are completely dependent on these highly advanced so called smart phones for their day to day activities.

Here as a part of our academic project, we are making use of these advanced concepts of android platform to implement an advanced application which will give following features to the user.

Present days human being are completely dependent on these highly advanced so called smart phones for their day to day activities.

Here as a part of our academic project, we are making use of these advanced concepts of android platform to implement an advanced application which will give following features to the user in during emergency situation.

  • Call the emergency number of Police Station
  • Call the emergency number of Fire Station
  • Calls the emergency number of Hospital

Also, this application sends the SMS to the admin about the emergency occurred.

Introduction:

Recent advances in the field of the communication system results in the invention of highly advanced mobile device having the power of super computers. These devices have become the integral part of the human being worldwide. Present days human being are completely dependent on these highly advanced so called smart phones for their day to day activities.

Here as a part of our academic project, we are making use of these advanced concepts of android platform to implement an advanced application which will be one stop applications.

This will be a single smart app which will offer the following functionality to the users.

    • This app provides the telephony functionality to the users.
  • SMS Sender
    • This app provides the SMS functionality to the users. Hence user can send SMS to friends/recipients.

    • This app provides the Web Browser functionality to the users. Hence user can use this app to browse the websites.
  • E-Mail Sender
    • This app provides the E-Mail sending functionality to the users. Hence user can send E-Mail to friends/recipients.


Hence this will be a SMART android app which will offer/perform multiple functionality in a single place.

Overview of the Project

The initial screen of the SAMRT All in One android app looks like as shown in the above picture. The initial screen will be having different buttons like

  • Telephone Dialer
  • SMS Sender
  • Web Browser
  • E-Mail Sender

Upon clicking on the any of the button, app will display respective screen ans allow user to perform the required action. regarding the emergency situation. i.e.

  • Upon clicking on Telephone Dialer button, app will open telephone dialer screen and all users to place a call to recipient.
  • Upon clicking on SMS Sender button, app will open SMS sender screen from which user can type the message and send to recipient.
  • Upon clicking on Web Browser button, app will open the custom web browser screen from which user can enter website URL and browse the website.
  • Upon clicking on E-mail Sender button, app will open E-mail sender screen from which user can type the E-mail message and send to recipient.

Further Extension:

Also we are planning to extend the functionality of the app to include some advanced features in coming future.
